Choosing the Right Photos and Adding Accessories
— Custom Pet Bobbleheads
Creating a custom pet bobblehead is a special way to capture your furry friend’s likeness forever. But to make sure your bobblehead looks as close to your pet as possible, the photos you provide matter a lot. Here are some simple tips on choosing the best images for your bobblehead.

1. Pose and Expression
Your pet bobblehead will be sculpted using two main reference images:
Pose image: This will help the artist shape your pet’s body.
Expression image: This will help capture your pet’s face and expression.
Pick a photo where your pet looks most like themselves, whether that’s their playful smile or a serious gaze.

2. Photo Guidelines
Here are a few important things to keep in mind when choosing your bobblehead photos:
✅ Eye-level shots: Choose images taken at eye level with your pet. Avoid extreme angles, a straight-on image is the most accurate.
✅ Proper distance: The pet’s face shouldn’t be too close or too far.
Too close → distorted face.
Too far → blurry or hard to see details.
✅ Centered position: Make sure your pet’s head isn’t cut off at the edge of the photo, this can cause parts of the face to look warped.
✅ Good lighting: Bright, even lighting is key to capturing your pet’s true fur color and eye color.
3. Color Accuracy
Your pet’s eye color and fur color may look different depending on the light and the camera. To make sure we get it right:
Provide a well-lit photo of your pet's eyes to capture their true color.
Include photos that show all angles of their fur pattern, especially if they have patches or unique markings.
If the color in your photos doesn’t look accurate, feel free to describe the eye color or fur color in your order notes.
